IDPADA-G’s Youth Committee Invest-A-Thon/Pitch Competition saw a total of 54 applicants with businesses and ideas needing investment opportunities.
The committee and judges had a tough time shortlisting the TOP 20 for the preliminary round.
However, all applicants were invited to benefit from a one-day business development workshop facilitated by Lyndell Danzie-Black and her team from Cerulean Inc.
At this insightful workshop, they were exposed to knowledge on identifying whether they are an entrepreneur or a small business owner; how to write a business plan; identifying their strengths and weaknesses; how to design their growth plans; identifying the problem they are serving; and assessing the market and conducting market research.
The TOP 20 are now applying the knowledge gained at this workshop to their pitch happening NOW at Herdmanston Lodge.
